EXCLUSIVE: Conservative Candidate Backs Bankers’ Bonuses

Many Edinburgh West constituents were shocked when it was revealed that the Tory constituency candidate has publicly supported bankers’ bonuses.

In his blog entry, dated 3rd November 2008, he stated that bankers’ bonuses were a reward for success.

Many local people, whose own money has been used to bail out the banking industry while they face higher food, gas and electricity bills, are saying he is simply out of touch.
