Campaign Success

Edinburgh West member Caroline Burgess (pictured left) and her 'Babies on Buses' campaign group have won the 2009 Campaign of the Year at the Herald Society awards. Their campaign came about when mothers with pushchairs were being turned away from boarding Lothian buses because of a policy that barred drivers from allowing pushchairs into the space designated for disabled passengers.  Well done Caroline!
