Mike Crockart and John Barrett MP attend Cramond Beach Clean

Today Mike Crockart and John Barrett attended the Cramond Beach Clean organised by the Marine Conservation Society. On a fair, but bitterly cold morning, the pair joined some sixty volunteers to scour the coastline and rid the beach of washed-up debris and litter left behind by careless visitors.

Westminster candidate Mike Crockart said, ‘What a rewarding way to spend a Saturday morning. It was great to volunteer with such an enthusiastic group of conservationists. Cramond beach and its adjacent coastal path are popular with locals and visitors alike, particularly in warmer months. I think taking a pride in our public spaces with a local project like this is very worthwhile.’
